Winter Orchestra Concert (2016)
Our annual Winter Orchestra Concert will take place this Friday, December 9th, at 7:00 PM. All are invited to attend and support our musicians.
Tickets to the event are $10 and help support all of our orchestra students. Seats may be secured online, through our Facebook Page (which you should 'Like'), or at our school box office. We have recently had very strong turnouts in support of our students and I would love to see that continue.

Two quick notes of thanks:
- Thank you to the Hilley Family, Panganiban Family, and Mariscal Family (dad and daughter) for supporting our classroom on #GivingTuesday. As a result, we now have $200 towards our next DonorsChoose.org project. Thanks again for your support!
- Thank you to our Mira Mesa musicians, who have twice now found time in their busy schedules to spend some time at Challenger Middle School mentoring our future Marauders!

- Monday, December 5th - Symphony Orchestra (strings) performance at the Mira Mesa Town Council Meeting. We will be heading over after rehearsal for a 7:00 PM performane.
- Wednesday, December 14th - Tentative date for both an Orchestra Bake Sale (the first one was tremendous) and Chili's 'Give Back' Restaurant Night. Details will be forthcoming.
- Thursday, December 15th - Catch the last performance of our Mira Mesa Symphony Orchestra leading into the Winter Break. This special concert will feature our orchestra and our top band at Mira Mesa High School (the Wind Ensemble). Tickets to this concert at $10, and will be used to support our musicians as they work towards an April 2017 trip to the Kennedy Center!
