Winter Concerts
Our Mira Mesa Orchestras will be presenting two winter concert this year. These performances will take place on Wednesday, December 6th and Friday, December 8th. Both of these events will begin at 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, December 6th
The concert on Wednesday, December 6th will include our Debut Strings, a chamber orchestra taken from our larger Concert Strings, and Symphony Strings. The evening will conclude with two musical collaborations featuring our Symphony Strings and Madrigals choral ensemble. Collaborative selections include Morten Lauridsen's O Magnum Mysterium and Franz Schubert's Gloria (from Mass in G, D. 167).

Selections for this program include works by Michael Daugherty, Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and Mikhail Glinka. In addition, the concert will feature the ***North American Première*** of Martien Van Der Zwan's Psalm 1, for piano and strings.
