I want to take a minute to wish everyone a happy winter break and a fantastic holiday season. Our students have worked hard this fall and have earned a nice break. I hope that everyone enjoys their time off and comes back in 2015 ready to go!
When we return on January 5th we will be jumping right into our next set of musical opportunities and challenges - first semester final auditions, pit orchestra for the musical, festival music, preparations for our March festival concert, and yes, rehearsal for a spring performance opportunity for our Symphony Orchestra students.
In short, enjoy the well-deserved break and I will see everyone in 2015!

Semester One | Final Performance Assessments
Our first semester performance assessments will be held on January 13-16 (and extended as is necessary). This individual performance opportunity allows our students to showcase their musical growth and development. The auditions will be used to help organize our orchestra as we move towards the second semester. For everyone's information, we hold the auditions soon after our return in January so that we avoid having auditions as the same time students are taking final exams in their other academic areas.
All performance materials and instructions have been attached in a document below. Practice well!

Pit Orchestra Rehearsals
Rehearsals for members of our pit orchestra will begin in January. The majority of preparatory rehearsal will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Please see Mrs. C with any questions.
