Alright, here's to keeping things brief this week. Here's the rundown by date:
- Monday, 11.28 - Symphony Orchestra rehearsal from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Only two left - be there!
- Tuesday, 11.29 - Concert Orchestra rehearsal from 3:00 - 5:00 pm.
- Wednesday, 11.30 - Concert Orchestra rehearsal from 3:00 - 5:00 pm.
- Thursday, 12.1 - All-State audition tapes and applications due.
- Friday, 12.2 - Grades close for the second progress report.
- Saturday, 12.3 - SCSBOA Marching Band Championships. Volunteers needed (I'll b speaking to Symphony Orchestra students in class this week). Everyone else, feel free to come and cheer on the Sapphire Sound as they compete in the Southern California Championships. Mira Mesa performs at 8:06 pm on Saturday evening. Come and cheer us on! :)
- Monday, 12.5 - Symphony Orchestra rehearsal from 4:00 - 6:00 pm (last one). Also, the Symphony Orchestra is performing at the Mira Mesa Town Council meeting. We will be feeding all students dinner following regular rehearsal. We will then be walking across the street to perform for the council as they open their meeting. We perform from 6:45 - 7:15 pm.
- Tuesday, 12.6 - Winter Concert! The show starts at 7:00 pm, and call time is 6:15 pm for students. Ticket information is below. Make sure you have appropriate concert attire...
