Here's a look at the week ahead, which is quite the busy one within the Music Program here at Mira Mesa.
Thanks again to Ensemble Masque for performing at Mira Mesa High School. If you would like to express your thanks directly to the San Diego Early Music Society, you can email Ms. Hawkins, who helped coordinate this event for our us.
- Monday Rehearsal - 2:45-4:15 for Symphony Orchestra students to accommodate for trick or treating and other festive events.
- Candle Fundraising Due - Candles orders are due tomorrow (i.e. Halloween). Checks should be made payable to MMIMB. Cash payments are also accepted. Please write your student name in the memo portion of the checks.
- Playing Exams - Concert Orchestra students are finishing playing exams (D Major scale). Exam grades will be posted shortly and comments on assessment will be posted by student ID outside the Orchestra room.
- Concert Dress - Students need to think about concert dress. The Winter Concert will be held on Tuesday, December 6th. Do not wait to acquire appropriate concert attire.

Finally, the Mira Mesa High School Sapphire Sound will be hosting its annual Field Tournament and Band Review this Saturday. This competition is the largest in San Diego and is only possible as a result of countless hours of volunteer work.
If you can help make this year's edition of the tournament the best ever, please sign up to volunteer here.
With the Orchestras joining MMIMB this year, it would be fantastic to see our orchestra community come together and support our fantastic band and color guard programs.
As always, have a great week. Go Mira Mesa!
