This Week
Here's a quick glance at the week of November 2-7 for our orchestra musicians here at Mira Mesa High School:
The Mira Mesa Invitational Band Review and Field Tournament will take place this Saturday. Mrs. Christensen and myself will be looking for student volunteers to fill a number of jobs throughout the day. If you do not happen to be working, please do feel free to come on out and support our 'home' team here at the tournament!
Dudley's Bread
Dudley's Bread order forms are available and will be collected this week. This is a quick fundraiser that we have offered annually. Dudley's breads and pies are really popular and the orders from this fundraiser will be delivered here to school just in time for the Thanksgiving break. Feel free to stock up on all the items you may need for the upcoming Thanksgiving and holiday season!

Shop with Scrip
Shop with Scrip is a great way to support our program. By purchasing gift cards at face value to a number of places you already shop at with regularity (ie. Von's, ARCO, Starbucks, Amazon.com, etc) you can help support our orchestra musicians here at Mira Mesa!
In addition to regular monthly orders, you can sign up for the Sop with Scrip Presto Pay function. Presto Pay is really easy to set up and allows you to log in and purchase 'Scrip Now' digital gift cards and/or reload existing cards (Starbucks, gas stations, grocery stores, etc).
Presto Pay works like a debit card and digital cards/reloads are processed very quickly. Attached below is an information handout and enrollment information regarding Presto Pay. This is also a great way for family members (or Mira Mesa alumni), regardless of where they live, to actively support our students.
