Welcome - Again
I say welcome (again) because we have just completed entering all of our new individuals into our email database. To our new students and supporters, welcome. To all our returning students and community members, welcome back. I hope everyone will find the information on this site valuable, and will continue to check the site regularly for updates. Take a look around... browse our orchestra ensemble pages (Symphony, Concert, Debut), synch your cell phone, computer, or tablet to our calendar, bookmark our intonation drones for your student, or just brows any one of our other pages which is maintained for your convenience.
In case you missed it, here was our welcome back letter, distributed some time ago. Anyways, our updates generally include information that will be immediately useful to both parents and students. So, without further adieu, here's a look ahead at our immediate future:

- Monday, September 24th - Cherrydale fundraising due (Tuesday is also acceptable); Orchestra Council (student leadership) meets during lunch.
- Tuesday, September 25th - Concert Orchestra (Period 2) violin auditions begin; Cherrydale due.
- Wednesday, September 26th - Concert Orchestra (Period 2) violin auditions continue; Orchestra Parent Meeting at 7:45pm in Room 405 (yes, this is at the same time as the Band Parents Meeting - we are all part of the Mira Mesa Instrumental Music Boosters, or MMIMB).
- Thursday, September 27th - Concert Orchestra (Period 2) viola auditions; Chamber music (quartet) performances begin in class for Symphony Orchestra (Period 3).
- Friday, September 28th - Concert Orchestra (Period 2) cello and bass auditions; Chamber music (quartet) performances continue during Period 3.
