Thank You
Before detailing the multitude of opportunities that exist for our students over the summer break (in a subsequent post), I just want to take a minute and thank everyone for helping make the 2013-14 academic year a success.
The 2013-14 academic year included a wide variety of musical events and opportunities for our students. Included this year:
In short, thank you to all the members of our orchestra community who help make the Mira Mesa Orchestra program a sound place for students. From the parents of our young musicians, to our string coaches, students, musical guests, and partners in education, everyone plays a role in helping shape the program here at Mira Mesa High School.Without your ongoing support, many of the opportunities available to our students would simply not be possible or sustainable.
Summer Opportunities
A post detailing a multitude of summer opportunities will be available later this week. Chief among those opportunities will be Mira Mesa's first ever Summer String Camp, which will run from August 18-22. A final daily schedule will be available shortly (as part of the schedule construction is based on student input on the registration form).
So, take a moment and register for the camp today by filling out this brief musician registration form!
Anyways, I hope everyone is off to a great start to their summer. I look forward to seeing everyone in August. I am sure that we will be in touch throughout the summer. See you soon!
