Summer String Camp (2015)
Our 2nd Annual Mira Mesa Summer String Camp will be held on August 17-21.
What is string camp? String camp provides our musicians a great opportunity to get in some playing before the school year starts. In addition, we offer guided coaching sessions, unique course offerings presented by special guests, and opportunities for all of our students to bond together.
Our inaugural camp in 2014 was a big success and we are looking forward to this year's edition! Below are the incredibly simple Online Registration (which will help us decide what sessions are offered throughout the week) and Daily Schedule (which will be updated throughout the summer with pertinent information).

Congratulations to the following students who were elected to our Orchestra Leadership Council for the 2015 - 2016 school year:
I want to thank everyone who expressed interest in serving our orchestra. This year's crop of candidates was the deepest, most well-spoken, and most genuine I have seen since coming to Mira Mesa. Every effort was made to be inclusive and find ways for individuals to contribute. Thank you!

Spring Concert | Thank You
With apologies for the delay, I want to thank everyone who came out in support of our musicians at our Spring Orchestra Concert. Your attendance at our concerts make a difference to our students and I am thankful to have had such strong turnouts over this past year.
For the record, we filled the theatre to capacity (with overflow seating utilized) for both the Winter and Spring Concerts. Special thanks to San Diego State University Orchestra Director Professor Gerdes for attending.
