Solo & Ensemble Recital | Free Admission
The 2nd Annual Mira Mesa Solo & Ensemble Recital will take place this Thursday, April 23rd, at 6:30 PM in the Mira Mesa Theater. This unique event allows students the opportunity to perform solo works or small chamber music selections.
Admission to the concert is free and light refreshments will be served. Come on out and enjoy an evening of chamber music.
Sample groupings include a viola and cello duet, a saxophone quartet, clarinet ensemble, a violin duet, voice and piano, a brass quintet, and a small chamber string ensemble. All ensembles and selections have been prepared exclusively by student-musicians.

Quartet Nouveau | Recent Events
Many thanks to the fine musicians of Quartet Nouveau who visited Mira Mesa High School earlier this month to perform (at a most appropriate time) a concert of string quartet music. This visit was made possible by the American Federation of Musicians, Local 325 - so many thanks to the Musicians Association of San Diego County!
Again, thank you to Quartet Nouveau for sharing a morning of Copland and Beethoven!

I heard nothing but rave reviews and I for one thought Mr. Anthony Do-Hoon Kim did a terrific job working with our orchestra musicians.
