Semester I | Final Marks
Grades for the first semester have been distributed to students. As always, grades are available on PowerSchool for everyone's convenience.

SDUSD Honor Orchestra & Band Auditions
Honor Ensemble season is here. This year's San Diego Unified School District Honor Band and Orchestra Concert will take place on Sunday, March 16th, at Copley Symphony Hall. The concert will begin at 3:00 PM and admission is free.
All students who wish to audition must submit an online request form by or before Wednesday, February 5th.
Auditions will take place the evening of February 11th at Mira Mesa High School. Please remember to bring your signed audition form with you to your audition. Also, please carefully review all of the audition and informational materials, which are available here.

You can take in one of their concerts this weekend, which are listed below:
- Saturday, February 8th - 7:30 PM at Christ Lutheran Church, which is located at 4761 Cass Street here in Pacific Beach. Admission is free to this concert.
- Sunday, February 9th - 3:00 PM at Classics at the Merc, located at 42051 Main Street in Temecula.
New Strings!
As I hope everyone is aware, I am always trying to provide the best opportunities to instruction, resources, and opportunities for our student-musicians. Recently, we received a bit of support from our school site and have been able to replace some of our old and aging strings.
Thank you to our school administration for helping us invest in two new sets of viola strings, one set of bass strings, eight sets of cello strings, and 15 sets of violin strings!
As goes without saying, your continued support, along with what is provided by our school administration, helps us as we strive to continue to offer our students quality educational opportunities and resources.
