The Yogurtland location in the Mira Mesa mall will be donating 20% of their sales on Monday, October 8th, from 2:30 - 4:00 pm. You must present the flyer when making a purchase.

Dudley's Bread
Question: Who likes Dudley's breads and pastries?
Answer: Everybody (obviously).
This incredibly easy fundraiser will kick off this week. Everyone knows about Dudley's famous breads, and we will be offering everyone an opportunity to stock up before the holidays! Be on the lookout for order forms this week.

Okay, simply put, here's what's ahead this week, and what to look forward to in the immediate future.
On the Horizon
Take note that our October 19th Rehearse-a-Thon will start at 3:30 and run until 7:30. This is going to be our first chance to see all of our Period 2 and 3 students together! We will be rehearsing a few combined pieces, working in sectionals, and perhaps trying some raucous material. We'll even provide dinner!

- Monday, October 8th - Orchestra Council at lunch; Symphony Orchestra rehearsal from 4:00 - 6:00; string coaching during periods two and three.
- Friday, October 12th - Come join us for a "Movie Day" at Mira Mesa. We'll be keeping the orchestra room (complete with a new stereo system now in place thanks to the "Band Dads") open from 3:30 - 6:00 (ish) to show a movie, munch on snacks, and meet some new friends. All orchestra students are welcome. See you there!
- Sunday, October 14th - The fine people over at San Diego State University will be presenting a fabulous orchestra concert on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm. Word coming out of Montezuma Mesa is the concert will include Mozart's Symphony No. 23, Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture, Sibelius' Finlandia, and the epic Borodin Symphony No. 2. Check it out and support Professor Rowe, MMHS alum Bryce Johnson, and last year's concert master, Ms. Jennifer Hsu! Here's a link to tickets.
- NOTE: Grades also close on Friday the 12th, so make sure you all are keeping up in your classes!
