New Teammates for Spring 2021
Students in our Mira Mesa High School Orchestras are fortunate to have the opportunity to work alongside established string professionals as part of their experience here at
Mira Mesa High School.
Given the format this semester, we are incredibly lucky the have the unique opportunity to add two wonderful musicians to our Spring 2021 team, Rebecca Reale (Violin) and Jean Hatmaker (Cello).
Rebecca Reale is a violinist with the LA Phil. A graduate of Rice University and The Shepherd School of Music and was previously a member of the Houston Symphony and
the New World Symphony.
Jean Hatmaker is a Chicago based cellist. She is the founder of the Kontras Quartet
and inspires others through her work at Elmhurst University and the Oak Park String Academy. She holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University and the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
Please join us in welcoming (a bit belatedly) these two wonderful people to our team here at Mira Mesa High School.
