Spring Concert Music
New concert music has been distributed to our musicians. As part of our spring concert cycle, each orchestras set of music (both the Concert Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra) will include a notable American composer.
In the case of our Symphony Orchestra, this composer is Christopher Theofanidis. Christopher Theofanidis is a modern American composer who currently is serving on the composition faculty at the Yale School of Music (having previously worked at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and the Juilliard School). read more of his biography here.

Our orchestra will study two of his works: (1) Visions and Miracles (1997/2002) - I. all joy wills eternity, and (2) Rainbow Body (2000).

Our Concert Orchestra will have the opportunity to study a piece by American composer John Corigliano. Mr. Corigliano, who currently serves on the faculty at the Juilliard School, has an extensive biography. In leiu of summarizing it, I would simply encourage individuals to visit his website to learn more.
Our orchestra will study his work for young orchestras, Reverie (1978).
Online resources and supplemental materials for works by both of these highly regarded composers are available on our Musicians Only page.
