Festival Recap
On Saturday, March 18th, our Mira Mesa Orchestras and Mira Mesa Bands both hosted, and performed at, our annual music festival (sponsored by the Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association). Our thanks to our students, for their performance on the stage and as hosts, has already been expressed, but certainly bears mentioning again!
With respect to the performance of our groups, our ensembles were very well received! Here are a few of the notable comments we received from Saturday's panel of adjudicators.
Congratulations to all of our students and ensembles for their high quality performances!

Pre-Festival Concerts
Thank you to all our families and friends who came out to support our musicians at our annual Festival Concert! This event is important as it helps our students prepare for upcoming festival performance opportunities (like this past weekend).

Below is a video of one of our String Orchestra selections from this past Wednesday's Festival Concert, Visions and Miracles (1997/2002) - I. all joy wills eternity, by American composer Christopher Theofanidis... not bad for our first effort on the piece in public performance!
Should you have any photos or videos from recent performances that you are willing to share, please email them to Mr. Mulvaney.
