Concert Prep Week | Rehearsal Schedule
Our annual orchestra Winter Concert will be held next week, on Tuesday, December 9th, at 7:00 PM. Information regarding tickets may be found below. For now, please note the rehearsal schedule for the week ahead:
Our annual orchestra Winter Concert will be held next week, on Tuesday, December 9th, at 7:00 PM. Information regarding tickets may be found below. For now, please note the rehearsal schedule for the week ahead:
- Monday, December 1 - Symphony Orchestra rehearsal from 4:30 - 6:30.
- Wednesday, December 3 - Rehearsal for all orchestra students (Symphony, Concert, and all pertinent winds and percussion) from 4:30 - 6:30. We will be trying a number of different orchestra configurations at this time, so it is important everyone make themselves available.
- Monday, December 8 - Final Symphony Orchestra rehearsal from 4:30 - 6:30.

Shop with Scrip
Please consider helping our orchestra program by enrolling in our Shop with Scrip program. This is a great fundraising program that has the potential to raise a significant amount of funds for our program with little to no additional expense.
Here's how it works:
I would also highly suggest enrolling in the PrestoPay program. This allows you to both purchase cards online directly, reload previously purchased cards, or acquire new digital gift cards directly through the website. PrestoPay comes with a nominal $0.15 transaction expense, but it is well worth it (the $0.15 expense is less than the cost associated with using a debit card at an ARCO station).
I was able to enroll recently in both the program and PrestoPay and the entire process was really simple. I have attached information regarding Shop with Scrip below.

- Purchase gift cards to a number of often shopped locations (Von's, Starbucks, Home Depot, Amazon, ARCO, Chevron, etc) at face value either through us here at school or via the Shop with Scrip website.
- That's it! Our orchestra program will receive a percentage back from every purchase.

Concert Tickets & Concessions
Tickets - Tickets for the concert next week are now available online. Tickets are $7 and all proceeds go towards supporting our students. In addition to being available online, tickets will be available at our school box office later this week.
Concessions - As was the case last year, we would like to provide complimentary concessions at the concert. We are hoping that orchestra families will consider donating baked goods and/or beverages, which we can then provide to members of the audience at the concert. Obviously, donations will be accepted for concessions at the event, but no one should be obligated.
Volunteers - We are seeking a small number of parent volunteers to help coordinate/setup the concessions prior to the concert. These same parents will be asked to volunteer during intermission and briefly to break down following the concert. In return, these volunteers will receive complimentary tickets to the concert (you will be able to watch the concert). Please email Mr. Mulvaney if you are interested in assisting beginning around 5:00 PM - thank you!
