Daily Rundown for Busy Week
With a busy week ahead, here is the daily rundown!
With a busy week ahead, here is the daily rundown!
- Monday, May 23rd - Band Area Concert: a number of our orchestra students will be volunteering for this event, which starts at 6:30pm.
- Tuesday, May 24th - Symphony Orchestra Rehearsal from 4:30 - 6:30.
- Wednesday, May 25th - Symphony Orchestra records the Walton, Berger, and intro to the Vaughan Williams during Period 2. The Orchestra Area Concert is also this evening (details below).
- Thursday, May 26th - World Faire during the school day (please do stop by to support the Orchestra Booth). After school, students must load and secure their instrument on the equipment truck!
- Friday through Sunday - Trip to Anaheim. A copy of the itinerary, including pertinent contact information, will be available on the Musicians Only page.
Orchestra Area Concert (Details)
Our annual Orchestra Area Concert is this Wednesday, May 25th at 6:30pm. Here is what we need to make this successful for our community:
Our annual Orchestra Area Concert is this Wednesday, May 25th at 6:30pm. Here is what we need to make this successful for our community:
- Donations - Drinks (water and other) for our concessions. We have already arranged for food items.
- Volunteers! - Both parents and student-musicians (from our Concert Orchestra) are needed to run concessions, assist elementary students and families, break-down at the end of the evening, and ensure that everyone (especially our younger ones) have a good time. Thank you for chipping in to help make this annual event a success!
- Symphony Orchestra - In concert attire and ready to perform/help as necessary.
Disney Workshop
Finally this week, our Mira Mesa Theatre Program and Mira Mesa Orchestras will be traveling to Anaheim for the weekend. A timeline, which includes pertinent contact information, will be available shortly on our Musicians Only page.
