Area Concert - Wednesday at 6:30 PM
The Mira Mesa Area Orchestra Concert will be held on Wednesday, May 20th at 6:30 PM. We will be hosting our elementary and middle school musicians and their families on Wednesday evening. Concessions will be available before the concert, so come with an appetite!
Speaking of concessions, we are in need of donations for Wednesday evening. We are currently in need of both baked goods and drinks for our concession areas. If you are able, please consider donating one or more of these items. Thank you for helping make this annual even a success.

Spring Concert | Tickets
As has been the case previously, we are offering our senior students early ticket access for our upcoming Spring Orchestra Concert. The concert will be held on Wednesday, May 27th, at 7:00 PM. Senior musicians and their friends and families can access the tickets early using the access code provided in class. Tickets will be available on Thursday for all students.
A variety of musical selections will be presented, including traditional orchestral compositions and a few newer selections. Traditional selections include compositions by Béla Bartók and Ernest Bloch, while theatrical selections include a suite from Pixar's Up, selections from Batman: The Dark Knight, and an original orchestration of Age of Dragons, from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, by Jake Boring (who will also conduct the work).
Tickets are available online or at our box office here at school. We look forward to seeing everyone next week!

Following the Spring Concert things will slow down. Left to accomplish: Orchestra Banquet, Senior Awards and Performance, Symphony Orchestra Auditions for 2015-16, Final Exams, and preparing for our Mira Mesa Summer String Camp!
